Choose this vintage home with a stunning and inviting interior. Built in 1839, as a church parsonage, this home has been renovated with contemporary flair. It sits in a pleasant residential area next to an historic church and cemetery. This home has a rear deck with expansive views of rolling hills. The rear deck is a pleasant spot for outdoor dining and relaxing. The delightful interior features contemporary décor. The modern kitchen includes a mural photo on one wall; this is the creation of the owner - an accomplished still life photographer of international renown. This mural was part of a recent exhibit at our Farmer’s Museum here in Cooperstown. Guests especially enjoy the functional 4-foot kitchen sink with double faucets and very spacious shower in 2nd floor bath.
The large master bedroom with a cathedral ceiling once functioned well as a sculptor’s studio because of the abundant natural light. The spacious landing on the second floor has a double bed for an additional sleeping area.
The neighboring church building has been used for social gatherings and parties since the 1980’s. Team parties are welcome on a pre-arranged basis for an extra fee. The building features a full kitchen, a pool table, a ping-pong table, air hockey, a piano, an indoor dining area with ample seating, and a comfortable seating area. Gratuity donations are accepted to cover cleaning.
