Cooperstown is a beautiful village nestled in the hills at the headwaters of the Susquehanna River on Otsego Lake. It is a small rural community with less than 3,000 residents in the ‘quiet season’. When summer arrives and travelers come to play baseball, tour the National Baseball Hall of Fame, visit the Glimmerglass Opera, play golf, or visit other local attractions, available commercial lodging is soon exhausted.
