     Waterfront Lodging is very popular! All of our lakes are great for swimming, fishing, boating and paddle sports. Otsego Lake is the largest in the area,  a glacier-made lake located in Cooperstown, NY. The Village of Cooperstown is at the southern end of Otsego Lake. Otsego Lake is the headwaters of The Susquehanna River which flows all the way to the Chesapeake bay - 444 miles downstream. Don't worry - there are many dams along the way which slow down the water significantly. Twenty Four (river) miles downstream  from Cooperstown, a dam on the Susquehanna River creates Goodyear Lake.

Goodyear Lake offers many vacation rentals. Goodyear Lake is about halfway between Cooperstown and Oneonta; it is a good landing spot for traveling baseball teams playing at any of the youth baseball tournaments in the area.

Arnold Lake is a small private lake and absolutely beautiful lake located about 15 minutes south of the Village of Cooperstown.

In between Cooperstown and Oneonta, The Susquehanna River is a lazy river -  great for kayaking, and fishing! Canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals are available on the river! 

Canadarago Lake is northwest of the village of Cooperstown, also great for fishing and all water sports!
